A portion of the photographer's royalties supports Guardians of Life community organizations, including the Cofán Survival Fund (CSF). CSF is an independent U.S.-based supporting 501(c)(3) organization for the Fundación Sobrevivencia Cofán (FSC).

The Fundación Sobrevivencia Cofán is dedicated to the survival of the Cofán Indigenous culture and its Amazonian rainforest environment. Founded in 1999 in response to oil exploitation in the region, FSC focuses on finding practical, on-the-ground, long-term solutions for managing natural resources in the Cofán ancestral territory in northeastern Ecuador.
